Three from Science Alert this week with the first being "29 of the most surreal landscapes on the planet" here.  Gamemasters should bookmark the page and write up one a day for the next month for your homebrew setting or to drop in when players take a left turn.

Also, they tell us "Earth's mantle is way less stable that we thought it was" here.  So, that tunnel to China I planned as a kid is seeming less and less likely.

Finally, "This ancient Babylonian map of Jupiter just changed history as we know it."  Get more of the story here.  Not all maps found in-game need to be easily understood.
